& Retina Consultants of East Texas was founded on the philosophy
that all patients deserve the highest quality health care, and on
the principle that fellowship trained physicians and surgeons are
able to offer expertise in subspecialty areas as well as in comprehensive
eye care.
We treat and manage glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular
degeneration, eye trauma, uveitis and other general eye disorders.
Our surgical techniques are in keeping with the latest developments
in technology, and are performed in a very pleasant and efficient
outpatient setting.
Our mission is to provide excellent service, with emphasis on communication
and the doctor-patient relationship.
We are located in Nacogdoches, Texas; our physician-owner, Shannon
Smith, M.D., F.A.C.S. has practiced here since 1993. She is an ophthalmologist
certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and fellowship trained
in ophthalmic pathology as well as in glaucoma. She performs state
of the art glaucoma and cataract surgery. |
